It is quite important ,in my opinion.The social responsibilities of a business include those to its stakeholders. I have noted that the stakeholders of the firm include the shareholders, the environment, creditors, debtors as well as the community at large. Goldma has gone above and beyond to ensure that their needs are met eg through providing food to the locals (helping them to grow their own food),being transparent to its stakeholders and also complying with the Zimbabwe Environmental management Agency(EMA).

That is very impressive! Iam glad you mentioned the environment because we have herd companies that don't play their part in safe guarding the environment we are extracting the wealth from. Looking at the figures coming out from the Goldma mine I think thats mother natures way of saying Thank you Goldma Grin

I wish more businesses were invested in corporate social responsibility. How do we make the community our own without investing in them? How do we expect the community to want us in their space without paying attention to their needs? How do we NOT play our small part in giving back.
