That is not the point. Watching a classic movie like "The Godfather" will have the same charm that it had few years back. Its because such movies have a replay value and not like this spinoff shitmovie remakes that Hollywood makes these days. On the other gambling is the same loss and recovery cycle everyday - of course it might seem to others that this get boring at times but trust for addiction gamblers it is not.

They will keep on gambling even if they lose because they are addictied and are going in the vicious cycle of loss and recovery followed by loss again.

What gamblers experience each time they play again and again the same game and loses again and again is the feeling of euphoria and thrill because of the chance of winning millions. It may be the same routine but these gamblers love the game because of the thrill of it and thats where the fun is at. I dont think the analogy of it to watching the same movie would be the same because playing gambling games does not give the same kind of feeling or experience.
