Yes it might not be possible for Bitcoin to cross the $25000 value in 2018. We are going up but with a slow pace and that is the reason Bitcoin might not go as high as mentioned.

Since the technology is expanding, it might have a much higher demand in 2019 because some countries have just recognized it and dome will follow the trend in future. Even some experts who are more optimistic about the future of Bitcoin claim it might rise and cross the $30000 target till December.
