Cryptocurrency can make you millionaire or bankrupt that is why everyone is advising invest at your own risk. There are no investment that is safe but since Blockchain has a lot of future i would take whatever risk it has because no one will ever know the future. Better for me to hold something towards future than nothing.

Any investment has always been risky, but the risk of encrypt the market is even greater. But here a lot of wealth has been created, so it attracts people more.
