the best wallet for holding an altcoin will be hardware wallet such as nano ledger and trezor, it is a better wallet than using online/website wallet, and even holding a coin in an exchanger.

if only for a short period of time it seems that holding tokens / coins in the binance market is also included as safe, because the binance market is classified as a large market so the security level is certainly more secure
