It has to be inspected to determine their value, etc. You must have a clear title (including no liens against the property), and in some cases may have to get an attorney involved to draw up an agreement that would be considered valid in the state of NY, though using real estate as collateral for cryptocurrency may be a very grey area due to how volatile the market is. All of this should be done with a local lender, probably with a bank.
