For me I don't normally invest into top 100 coins, I always look for coins that are still undervalue that is still low in price, but if i am mandate to pick my best three coins from top 20 coins from the coinmarketcap then I will choose Eth, Neo and EOS

NEO and EOS lack of demand and the price has been decreasing a lot from its ATH. i just try to pick up the new coin rather than investing in the TOP that gets a bearish trend.
Bitcoin and ethereum are the main choices. But just try to pick up those coins which have utility.,
