Because it's still pegged with the bitcoin. Ethereum follows the bitcoin anytime, you can see that through the ethereum chart and how the ethereum chart is very similar to the bitcoin chart. Both are not security coin but the bitcoin is more dominance compared with ethereum that's why it can't become the number one of crypto.

Bitcoin still has enormous power so that bitcoin is very difficult to defeat. Etherum does have enormous potential, but when juxtaposed with Bitcoin, it cannot be equated. Now ETherum does have a lot of positive values, coin with the volume of transactions has a large and wide market share.

Things like this must be maintained because it is not impossible that in the future ETherum will be stronger.
