For both long term and short term, ethereum may not be the right choice when considering its inflationary nature. Also, it was heavily pre-mined by its devs. Hence it may get dumped at any time which is highly expected one. I agree it has one real time usage of providing platform for ICO, but in market many other coins also doing the same.

but by buying ethereum to be used as a long-term or short-term investment to get a big profit, it is easy, because ethereum coins that have a high enough value and their value always increase every year. it's better to buy now than later
