The personal attacks were uncalled for. The fact that they were merited shows a lot about why the forum is having issues. No one will respect your rules when you have no respect for the other members.

That knife cuts both ways, you know. Basically, there's no good way for you to prove that it was your father that got banned, and not one of your alt accounts.

That said, I checked DeepDown87's post history and it looks like that user was last active in June of this year, but the last post was in November of last year. Perhaps the problem is due to the password being entered incorrectly too many times which triggers the challenge question system. If that is the case then from what I've observed here on meta, this account is lost.

Thanks for password being the issue theory. It's very possible that's what occurred.

I am going to end this journey now and bow out of this thread as I have been warned to stop making posts by the moderator so I'm not sure if I will be banned for responding further at this point. The account seems to be a total loss and this request seems to be showing an ugly side of this forum. No need to continue. Thanks to everyone who gave me some good insights on what the possible causes were.
