This question doesnt make any sense because it never going to happen. Bitcoin does not belong to any government, it belongs to people and is open to anyone that wants to make use of it. No government will come up tomorrow to charge crypto users tax, nah thats never going to happen. You will only pay tax for what youre doing in your country, the government has no business to do with this.

I think in that case bitcoin will experience a price decline due to the implementation of taxes for holders, this can happen because if bitcoin is taxed it means there is no more anonymous term on bitcoin other than that cheap fees will also no longer apply because there is tax, the second possibility is that the price of bitcoin will increase because the government provides legal guarantees for every bitcoin transaction.
