Thanks The Chezzz! Glad to see you on the forum, hope you're doing well. I haven't looked into their decentralized exchange as of yet, I'll definitely take a look into it tonight.

The way DNotes would work for the StellarX decentralized exchange platform is the following:
Put up an amount of DNotes as collateral.
Create your issuer files.
Issue new token representing that collateral on the StellarX platform.
With the promise that you would exchange those for the collateral.

So assets never actually enter the system, only a promise against collateral, therefore can never be withdrawn. A request could be sent to the issuer however there is no mechanism to ensure they will honor the request and based entirely on the trust of the issuer.

There are some things we will need to discuss regarding this process and if we want to list DNotes here. It's a very intriguing approach and I certainly give the Stellar people kudos.
