Everyone has a different budget for gambling and as you said 50$ is big for you then only thing which I could recommend you is that going forward do not gamble or else only for fun when you have excess amount play with it and do not try to recover the lost amount as it could be the biggest mistake you could make it.

$50 is very small amount for a regular gambler. i lost more than $50 several times, but I also won more than $1000 at a time. If I compare my loses and wins I guess that I have won more money. So I can say that till date I lost nothing, but if you asking onetime loss, then I would like to say that the maximum price I lost was about $900. But I dont care because I also won many times.
