It is not only the price that bitcoin is more than double of gold. It is also more valuable than gold, more profitable and easily usable worldwide. If we look these two in security perspective then I think gold is safer than bitcoin because it needs no internet, no computer and no wallet. You can hold your gold in your local bank lockers or even in your home. It doesnt need anything else.

It is doubtless that bitcoin will surpass gold but it is also a fact that the real money is only gold. It is more secure than bitcoin and widely used in the world. On the other hand there are still many people in the world that are unaware of the name of bitcoin. The need long time to believe in bitcoin and out their money in it, because it is a matter of money and trust.
