Nothing is impossible in cryptocurrency but I doubt if it can reach the $2500 value this year. It is not highly probable to happen knowing that market is still down until now. My guess is that by end oif the year, ethereum might be $1500 and not the $2500 mark.

That's still a big question to ask while seeing how ETH are going right now, the value is too low and more and more traders and holders are losing
its faith and selling it out of panic, we are still in need of big bull run for this coin to reached that new height and make this speculation be correct
or there's a need for much longer time, maybe next year if things can be good before this year end.
