Indeed, awesome! But for me as most likely for many other people, a closed source client is a show-stopper.
IMO, you're better off rethinking your license model and work around any constraints of 3rd party software.

This simply looks too promising to not receive the acceptance which apart from the license model this quality work surely deserves.

No joke. This open source and for mac and the client issue would be finished for ever. Cheesy
