it wouldn't work for me through the app store either but I went to the link in chrome and it downloaded fine.

Please! Middlecoin Android app people: The guy put up a dedicated release page and asked in his post in this thread, to to direct queries there. Please stop ignoring that and filling up this thread with them - it makes it harder for people to catch up on other Middlecoin issues and harder for the developer to address your problems:
