I'm mining via MRR and renting them at quite good prices. For ex. recently received 0.0017 LTC for 6 hours (single MLD2) ... thats like 0.007 LTC daily.
The thing is to set the price pretty high (not too much) so miner won't be rented all the time (only during demand peaks). If not rented you are mining at your defined pools.

I am trying to configure my sticks to mine there too. However, bfgminer which I am using (bfgminer 5.4.2-38, original from jstefanop) is sending me errors:

How to disable coinbase-check or other checks in bfgminer?

Have you set: --no-gbt --no-getwork ?? (MRR state that in bold)
I'm using same miner (released 14-dec-2017) and just copied conf. settings from their site.
