I didn't want to copy and add all of the responses I received from my little tantrum Grin. I would like to thank each and everyone of you who did respond and say all of the encouraging remarks that probably didn't only keep me motivated but many others with the same questions and thoughts. That is why I'm excited about being part of this group. Not only do you keep us informed, you answer all of our questions and concerns. You also assist with our digital problems when we are in distress. This team is above reproach and will lead the way to the top. I am retired from the U.S. Army and have been teaching leadership classes for the last 12 years and everything I see here on a daily basis is exactly what we teach. Keep up the great work and we will reach the top. Even the best get a little frazzled some times. It's how you recover that is the key to success. IMHO!

Hey Chezzzz, well we always welcome people's questions -- one of the big things that we have set out to achieve from the outset is to create a cultural environment that people feel comfortable in, one where no reasonable question is considered too simple or inappropriate. After all, an environment that doesn't focus on such an environment, would be, in the words of Jocko Willink, who has a similar background to yourself:

“If frontline troops are unclear about the plan and yet are too intimidated to ask questions, the team’s ability to effectively execute the plan radically decreases.”
- Jocko Willink, retired Seal 1 vet, and leadership coach

And thus, we are clear about our vision, mission, and objectives with our community wherever possible.

In this fast moving industry, there have been countless new challenges to overcome, and numerous unexpected setbacks that result from circumstances often outside of our control or decisions made by other parties that have been painful to stomach, and even demotivating as they stalled our forward momentum. But we are not working diligently fueled by motivation alone, but by a disciplined commitment to achieving our vision. As Alan says in the quotation from his book he posted above, traits like focus, discipline, patience, persistence, and tenacity have been observed to prevail when it comes to commonalities among successful people. They are all tightly-linked traits, which I think can broadly come under, or are at least related to the over-arching category of discipline.

“Don’t expect to be motivated every day to get out there and make things happen. You won’t be. Don’t count on motivation. Count on discipline.”
- Jocko Willink

"Where you are right now matters far less than where you are going from here."
- Alan Yong
