Losing hard earned money is so frustrating. In general 50$ is not a big amount for regular gamblers. As you consider it as big amount, my advise is to stay away from gambling. You can lose more than that in a matter of time.

$50 is not a big amount if that person can use $100 for playing gambling. But still, everybody doesn't want to lose the money even for the small amount in the gambling. They will realize that they are spending too much money on gambling, but then, they are losing more money than they can think. So if you still want to play gambling, then you need to limit the amount, for example, you only use $25 for playing gambling, and if you lose all of $25, then you need to get away from gambling.

I am not a regular gambler but seldom gambled with my friends. I remember that I lost about 3500 of my local currency which is about $30 dollar in todays price. In that time this was big money for me. I was very upset but I think that if try to get back my money from gambling I might lose more money. It is better to quit gambling and never come back.

You made some good decision when that amount means a lot to you. Playing to recover money is a bad idea and should never do that. You should play for entertainment and in case won you should be happy and move away rather than getting more greedy.
