I think not this year for bitcoin to surpass the price, it is possible next year we may see the rise of price. Yes this is what I am seeing in bitcoin stands this year it could not reached 20k. No good news progress recently thats why it cannot reach although in crypto price is unpredictable.

I agree it's not going to happen in this year, but if I look at the price phase, it looks like will occur in 2020-2021, where the current phase really happened, a lot of the negative news that makes the price of bitcoin difficult increases. because after halving bitcoin prices usually skyrocket.
