This suggestion isn't punitive, nor is it directed toward newbies in particular--it's a valid suggestion IMO that everyone should follow. If anything, it helps thread-starters by making them put some thought into their thread title and would help the community as a whole, since they wouldn't have to guess as to what a thread is about before opening it.

I know this is a very low-priority issue, but I see nothing but good coming from making some sort of rule or policy change. I won't be heartbroken if mprep or Theymos do nothing, but I think they ought to at least consider it.
