Since we are talking about the two great coins, nothing else but Bitcoin and ETH comes into my mind. Despite the fall in the value and despite the down market, I still suggest these two great coins to invest in for long term. We have seen enough drops in the market before as well and this is another drop which will take time to recover but eventually will. Besides, I do not see any other coins more competent and with an advanced project like this one it gives a feeling of safety to stay by your choice.

Bitcoin and ETH will always be in demand by everyone, especially newcomers. When they will invest then the first thing they know is bitcoin, bitcoin has become a popular cryptocurrency today and they won't even know the number of altcoins so much, and it's impossible for them to check one by one an altcoin to be used as an investment place. However, if they want to invest in altcoins then the choice is ETH, the second position in coinmarketcap will always be seen by all people before seeing other altcoins they will focus first on the ETH.
