How come you think you can open only one currency? You may have several currency in the account and I do (USD, EUR, JPY, CAD, GBP). For each currency you can register several banks but practically there are limitations. You need to be resident same as the bank or your citizenship is same location as the bank. They should match with IDs.

You are totally right, thank you, i was able to switch currencies in my account and add a Japanese Bank account. So if i want to sell my bitcoins and withdraw to my Japanese bank account i should necessarily trade in JPY? https://bitcoinity.org/markets/mtgox/JPY. Or can i trade in USD and they would convert those USD to JPY and then send them as JPY? I just want to be super sure.
