If your wallet or file get stolen by someone its hard to recover because they change everything in your file. But if you put recover phrase or password you can recover it. The big problem when your wallet was stolen your funds will be gone because they will still everything and it is totally bad.

I understand that the risks of losing a wallet is very high compared to losing physical wallet with you because if you lost physical wallet, you are still able to called up banks to close down your account so thief cannot use the card except for the physical money that have in the wallet. However, wallet file can led in losing everything once it's stolen. So the most important things to do is secure your wallet properly and the right place where no one knows except yourself and to always remember your password.
