Hi there! Just to let you know, access to contacts is needed to send peer-to-peer messages and make peer-to-peer calls (from the messenger user to the messenger user). Calls to the PSTN (to a subscribers mobile number or to a landline number) are paid features that are currently available only to customers of those operators who are integrated into the Bubbletone system. If you do not want to provide access to your contacts, what are you planning to use a messenger for? You will not be able to communicate with the messenger users. In this case, you have to install paid functionality.
is it possible to just allow bubbletone app to access just one contact every time a user want to? lets say i'm in Singapore right now and then i wanna contact someone from my country i'd dial using the app but the only it can access is the only contact i allow it to? maybe this can be done as part of security in the app.
Hi! As you can see, there is no such function in our application. Like other messengers, Bubbletone requests access to your contacts and shows exactly those contacts from your address book who has the installed messenger (contacts who can communicate with you via Bubbletone messenger). Hide the fact that you have installed a messenger from other users of the Bubbletone messenger is impossible. On the other hand, if you make a call to PSTN (landline numbers or mobile numbers), you can call anyone you want. The only thing I remind you is that this is a paid function.
UMT is a utility token it does mean we can pay these PSTN calls with UMT correct?
If we meant stealth like what we aspire to what can you recommend for users who are very much cautious to whoever is listening? this question come from someone too paranoid you could say.
