Wirex has extra fees (on top of ATM/bank fee) and low daily limits for ATM withdrawals and may not be too attractive for that purpose (Wirex is more fit for paying with the card in store).

The other issue with Wirex is that they're using ridiculus spreads from live market rates. They claim to have no exchange fees, but there's a very big difference on how they convert BTC. Everyone using them should know that. I'm afrain many are unaware...

It's often an easy 1.5% or more which is higher than any advertised fees anywhere.

For me it's the only game in town but I'd be straight back to xapo or bitpay if they opened up again.

Wirex makes no sense if you have an alternative as Americans do.
