The two coins you mentioned are good to invest into now due to the price of the market but I want you to know that no crypto currency is stable in terms of price because it the level of demand and supply that will tell the price of each and every coins.

It might be said that both of bitcoin and ethereum coins are stable in leading the highest price level than the altcoin, indeed, most people see from the price if they want to give a suggestion for investment, because if the price increase then highest coin price will give a huge profits. But still, when it comes to bitcoins price, ethereum and altcoin still don't have a stable price and if the price goes dip people will go panic and feel stressed because they put a lot of money.
