I will suggest you make use of Paxful or Localbitcoin. Dont even try to do business with anyone in this forum if you dont trust them. Some people here are scammers, even when they are caught they will quickly change account. So it will be best for you to use a trusted platform like Paxful and do it easily, or if you can get anyone to sell locally to, thats even better.

I always prefer it the other way.
A lot of online companies can track what you're doing and will sell on your infmration in order to make a greater profit on their enterprise. Doing cash transfers is safer than dealing with people over the internet? OK, if you're in a secure location where enough people know you then yes that is safe, it becomes less safe where no one knows you and you're just wondering around with several hundred/thousands £/$ to trade (or worse, to accept).
