It's not a bad investment the only things is that you invested at the top when bitcoin was high in price. For those who invested in bitcoin when it was 1000$ then bitcoin is a great investment for them. For now, the only option is to wait for it to recover in price because selling at this price is not worth it.

Because more people are in hype to invest when crypto is doing good and when it is in bear condition, they would call it a scam. One has to consider long term investment. There may be short term profits but it won't always happen. When you invest, you know the risk at hand. And you won't lose until you sell. But before selling, consider long term investment first.
