Is it sad that when I quickly glanced at this all I saw was

'I was driving at 120mph... and that is against the law' --> I then thought, you MAY be able to get out of that one if you explain it well enough (Some people are good with that sort of charisma and instant bullshit)

But yeah..... analogy is pretty solid for this situation.
