I think ethereum will be back in second place because there are a lot of major updates planned for 2019 that should affect its price.

Ethereum Vs XRP: ETH rank changed many times but it was temporary and now i think finally eth going to 3rd position permanently because everyone predict that XRP is the next promising future. Ethereum will not back in second position i think.
