Do as Abdussamad suggested, and post a screenshot of the wallet software you are using... or show us the exact link that you used to download the wallet.

on that page there are 9 available wallets for windows desktop, including bitcoin core and electrum I assume you got it from here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
cmiiw, only 4 of them require downloading full blockchain: Armory, Bitcoin Core, Bitcoin Knots, mSIGNA
so it's down to possible 3 wallets now... @OP which one did you install?
