Yeah right, the main thing here is your own understanding, dealing with your investment with full knowledge can allow you to hold longer than most newbies did, I can see that those who are in so much panic are investors who didn't do any research and just being move by the fomo that happen last
years pumped.

They are less than that, so when prices drop panic continues to haunt them so they don't want to lose their money at selling below the price when buying.
