Also what do you mean? all talk and no walk. In regards to what exactly?

In regards to your response to pretty much anything that would require you to expend any effort, even if it's as simple as reading something:

Anyway I have not had time

I wish I had time to do that or had the motivation

Yet you always find time for walls of text and attacking others for not responding to you quickly enough. All talk, no walk.

I mean I have asked you to provide me any argument or reason why you think introducing such a system would not improve things. I know I rarely get an answer to questions from you... but have a think about it and if you can think of a reason why you would like to keep hunting around for negative things to report rather than spending all of your effort looking for positive things to reward whilst also leveraging merit not just to rid the boards of spammers but also to rid them of the biggest plague of "not quite spammy enough to be banned/deleted but still nowhere near the level to be considered net positive" it is the contamination of those that are driving out the good posters equally as much as the pure spammers which can be deleted eventually.

Since you haven't provided any tangible details of such a system - what exactly do you expect me to say?

Those posts already don't get merits. That doesn't stop them. In the short term and using the current tools they need to be reported and deleted. In the long term bounty campaigns need to be reigned in and/or the incentive for such posts needs to be diminished. Sorting ANN topics may solve the problem of shitty bumps. Alt discussion may need a different fix but until someone comes up with that there is no excuse for not reporting those shitposts. That is if anyone cares.

well those "not having time" were for tasks that I had no real interest in completing since it was lacking incentive. I already knew what the results would be within a small margin, and the task had already been completed in the link I had posted ...to the same degree as it has now. In life it is best to allocate time to tasks that reap the biggest rewards.

It is not really essential to stop them joining the board we just need to prevent net negative users driving out net positive users through dilution. They will not reach the senior boards. I guess eventually accounts trapped on the junior boards (where sigs are not allowed) will not even have fake conversation fake support value so will become entirely worthless so should fade away over time. To prevent them joining is impossible there just needs to be no easy path to monetizing the board without putting in a lot of effort in a positive way.

Trying to delete them once they are in contact with net positive users is not going to work because there will always be more scammers who are more motivated than there will be reporters. I mean even if a lot get deleted eventually the thread is normally is already dead by then or pushed to page 10. Prevention is better than cure.
