Start reading at LoyceV's Merit data analysis (full data since Jan. 24, 2018; not just 120 days), from there it's a small step to isolate the Top 200.Theymos has actually said there is no harm in discussing new techniques and ideas to implement. I mean this is meta right?

I think someone is still hungry, can you create the same statistics for Meta? How many merits top 200/500 merit receivers have received in Meta 
If I can find the time, I'll do it. And because it requires scraping tens of thousands of posts, I'll do it for many more boards too once I start.I think it will be more effective if we can have a % value.
Sure, see next posts. It's quite slow to process, this wasn't meant to be something I'll use more often I'll sort them, starting with the biggest percentage reduction. If anything interesting comes out of this, I expect it to be at either the top (circle jerking club) or the bottom (merit sales and alt-accounts) of the list.
