altcoin trading is very necessary in conditions like now, but it is not recommended for new traders because the risk is very high, some altcoins can still be reactive with profits at least until March next year, the opposite will still happen to bitcoin because it is nearing the end of the year and not may be reactive in just 1 week.

gambling is also a good alternative, but all investments still depend on everyone's comfort.
