rumors and issues are the biggest contributors to why prices can drop dramatically, besides that a lot of large investors who are panicked sell and sell large amounts of coins is one of the causes. so I think that could be the main trigger why prices can go down

It is commonly happen to a decentralized market, prices moves easily and don't see where it goes. Crypto prices drastically dump as it meant to be happen and there is nothing to worried about cause it momentarily back into normal flow.
