Hi, Since its the Alpha version you can become a Node Tester. The roadmap on the adelpoint.com site shows that beginning of next year (Q1 2019), The Beta version will be released. If you are running a node for AdelPoint, you will receive Adelphoi (ADL) rewards.

To get full access for receiving rewards, it is necessary to become Founder on the adel portal (registering and owning 32K ADL coins). See www.adel.io for more info.

It's like owning a masternode yes. You don't need anything special just enough space - 10GB. It can run on linux also on a raspberry pie for about 30$, so really simple. I tried it and will share a guide on how to do it. It's not difficult, but in case someone outside crypto want's to test it I'll make it simple so a grandpa can do it

AdelPoints service is fuelled by Contributors running a node on their computer. In the future (Starting at Beta version) Node Contributors will receive rewards based on revenue generated from advertisements to users and distributing these proceeds to Node Contributors and Adel, as custodians of the service.

Its a unique outside the chain reward.
