in times of economic downturn people look to store there wealth in gold and silver, i would love to think what would happen if people started using Bitcoin for this instead. I dont think we are there yet but the day will come...

I agree with you, more or less the global economic conditions will have an impact on the crypto market. Because maybe, some people have the view that crypto in the long run still has good potential as an asset for investment

Gold and other physical assets would still be the top logical option if ever these conditions occur. What happens in the stock market can very well happen in crypto and even worse. That's why investors would be a little wary and that's why i'm not counting on any massive bull runs anytime soon.
