Every token in the market is down and Im not surprised about that because we are currently in bear market, so you shouldnt be expecting them to be high in price. This is really going to take a long time before another bull run occurs. There are people who are even believing that the market wont recover from this fall. Maybe the best thing you can do now is to trade those tokens.

Yes, staying away from ICO must be the right advice as of now. Still, I will not agree with the statement of market is down and that is the reason why projects are not performing well. I had seen some projects have performed well even in the negative work. So, blaming the trend of crypto currency is not a right approach for the failures of ICOs.
