Though I agree to some extent and I definitely agree that people should take reasonable risks, comparing the risks of buying bitcoin, a volatile asset, to starting a business is quite different. With a business, you have control with everything. If your business fails, you only have yourself(and your partner) to blame. With investing in cryptocurrencies though? There's only so much a single person can do to positively influence bitcoin's price, especially as a person that's not a sort of celebrity or "influencer" in the cryptocurrency space. True. I remembered an anonymous trader that bought a large amount of Bitcoin amounting to billions? or millions? I can't truly remember but it happened last year and it pumped up the price for a bit. The pump didn't last long and didn't reached quite too far, that's why it wasn't that kind of memorable history from Bitcoin but from what you had said it made me remember of this exact history.
