Yes. I believe that both smart contract platforms will have their specific uses and purposes within the mainstream world. EOS could be the blockchain for businesses and corporations worldwide, while TRON could be the decentralized blockchain for the people enabling a decentralized internet with dApps and tokens that perform better than in the ETH blockchain.

The most interesting thing about both EOS and TRON, is that the same use DPoS as their consensus algorithm. This enables them to process a large number of TPS, while providing no fees at all. However, I believe that EOS has a better chance of becoming successful than TRON, simply because it has a greater development team and highly supportive community.

Nonetheless, time will tell us whenever EOS or TRON will be the true winner. Until now, ETH is still the leader of smart contracts, but it could change in the future with the growth of alternative platforms such as the ones mentioned earlier. Just my opinion
