I'm sorry. But this "99% is for the rich" argument doesn't make any sense. Most of them are wealthy simply because they deserve it and worked hard for it in the first place.

how do you figure? most rich people have never worked a day in their life. they inherited wealth and merely put their capital to work for them, as opposed to actually working like most people. being born into wealth is not a matter of "deserving". very few people go from rags to riches. in general, property/capital owners extract from renters/workers. that's why the rich get richer while the poor get poorer.

the OP isn't completely off---the USA (in tandem with entities like the IMF) has played an integral role in creating the global north vs global south dichotomy. and his complaints are grounded in the current globalized capitalist system.

of course, the USA going bankrupt would make things much worse in the immediate term. because of globalization, financial contagion from an american collapse is likely to worsen the economic situation for most of the world.
