In my opinion you are confusing cause and effect. The price is the root cause, and the position in the cryptocurrency rating is a consequence.

They are directly correlated, aren't they? The higher the price, the higher the rank. The higher the rank, the higher the price. It's the same not depending on the way you look at it.
