Sadly this is the new security setup that MPOS (the pool software we use) has decided to enforce. I tried to find a way to loosen some of the security for the initial launch but there was no easy way to do it Sad

Once you get a payout address set, hopefully there should be no need to change it and you won't have to deal with all the email BS after that.
