Why they keep it only for 4 people as their max, for some new site, they should have some fund with them for promoting the site and yet they capped. Although it is a good site, if there is something like this, I do not think they have enough balance to support all the members here. Since they already make in open beta then they should really try to give their best for the markets, not something like this

The answer is "abuse", if there is no limitation on this promo then abuser may take the opportunity to self-referring. This is absolutely not good for the site. I do even sure that with this limit (4 max referral) for the promo, there will be still some people tries to abuse the promo. You have ever said about faucet abusers as well, if there are many faucet abusers which the amount is so low then this promo will be more attractive than the faucet.

You said it right, we all know that there's people who can abused the promotions even the house have an allotted budget to attract gamblers/players
they also needed to protect their business to those possible abusers, maybe the team anticipated things like this and that's why they implemented this rules.
