If everyone started to use CMC to check the prices of crypto currencies then there is no wonder from their action like these because everyone is here to make money so coinarketcap is also going to do anything to make money so don't trust them at all and there are also many accusations about CMC for the fake trading volumes and prices of crypto currencies.

I also heard about fake volumes by coinmarketcap. I personally like to compare price with converting its value on different platforms so this tricks don't work whenever they need to manipulate markets.
