With all due respect, I find that hard to believe, unless they themselves are suspects. Restricted from certain rooms and computer systems maybe, but kept out of the building as owners and damaged party is something unusual.

Really, are we expected to believe police knows the systems better then the owners and operators, especially in something as out of mainstream as crypto and they can investigate themselves with no help?
