This is the first time I am hearing about MXC but I will try to do my research and see if it is true.

Government don't really have a say of whether crypto stays or goes, but one good thing about government endorsing a project its that it gives run for the big players to come in and be part of the project without fear of government clamping on them. So, if its true, then it's a good development.
